What is softwashing?
It's a cleaning method that uses specialist solutions at low pressure, rather than high-pressure water, to kill moss, algae and lichen and lift the staining they cause.
Why not just pressure wash?
High pressure can erode render, strip paint and force water behind cladding. Softwashing gets the surface clean without that risk, and it kills the growth rather than just moving it.
Will softwashing damage my render?
No. That's the point of softwashing: the finish isn't blasted, so it isn't damaged.
How quickly will I see results?
Most staining lifts on the day. Some deeper staining keeps fading over the following days as the treatment finishes working.
Is it safe around my plants?
We protect plants and planted borders before we start and rinse around them afterwards.
