What's actually growing on your roof?
Most Manchester roofs pick up three things. They look different, they do different damage, and they need treating, not just blasting off.
Lichen
Crusty yellow-grey patches that grip the tile surface. Scraping alone won't shift it.
Black streaks
Algae that spreads down the roof in dark stripes, usually worst on shaded slopes.

How much does roof cleaning cost in Manchester?

Will roof cleaning damage my tiles?
No. The bulk of the moss is taken off by hand and the roof is then treated, so we're working with your tiles rather than against them. We'll talk you through the method for your roof before we start.
How long does a roof clean last?
The treatment keeps working after we leave and slows regrowth, but how long a roof stays clean depends on shade, nearby trees and which way it faces. We'll give you honest advice for your roof.
Do I need to be home while you clean?
Not usually. As long as we can get to the area we're cleaning, we agree access beforehand and send you before and after photos when the job is done.
